I kind of jumped the gun and didn't post about our weekend before I posted our FHE lesson for Monday:)
Fri night was another GAME NIGHT:) BYU vs Utah State. The game was pretty COLD but since we won we didn't mind the cool weather. It was a pretty uneventful game being that the score ended 6 to 3... YIKES, not much scoring, lucky for us we have an AMAZING DEFENSE and they are pretty entertaining to watch.. We got up to walk to the car with about a min and a half left in the game. Wouldn't you know that Taysom Hill got hurt during one of the last plays of the game. He should have been taking a knee to run the clock down but Bronco says "there was a miscommunication", Taysom ran a play at took a hit to the knee.. They aren't saying much about it right now but it looks like its a season ending injury!!! COME ON BRONCO!!! That is definitely frustrating!!
I was FREEZING..:)
We love going to games together!! such a good time:)
and then of course this past weekend was also conference and I must say I CAN NOT WAIT FOR THE ENSIGN ISSUE OF CONFERENCE to come out. Its hard for the kids being at grandmas house, they want to run around and play and not have any of the regular rules that mom gives them but since we have been living here for the last few weeks that hasn't been the case. I try to enforce rules but its a different environment for the kids and to be honest there is not much they can do without getting in trouble.. So it is still pretty hard to say the least:) We tried building a fort for the kids to watch conference (the last couple conference sessions this has been a HUGE HIT, but this time around it was way less exciting) I printed out plenty of conference packets, matching games, bingo cards, and lace up cards for the boys but once again it was not as exciting for them this time around. All they wanted to do was run around and play. SO that in mind conference was a little less then reverent and a enjoyable for everyone. I did catch a few of the talks, Elder Gay's talk (the one I used for FHE was obviously one of my favorites) and I always love hearing from the Prophet so I really enjoyed all of President Monson's talks. Hopefully next conference will be a little more normal and there wont be as many distractions for the kids.
Yep EVEN WITH ALL of these activities they were still not happy campers!!
This was one of the happier moments :)
Dugi loves his babies!! :)
