Last night we had a super fun FHE ... we decided to do something that would be fun for ALL AGE GROUPS:) We paired one older kid with one younger kid...
RJ was paired with Briyler since he's the hardest
Malea was paired with Dugi
and Ryker and Tyler seem to be quite the little Duo so they were paired together and they loved it:)
Pipa just ran around and played so she didnt get a partner :)
We started with the opening prayer said by: Malea
opening song: I am a child of God
Then the fun began, I hid all of the clues and then each group got to find the next clue when it was there turn. We had to read 2 scriptures and figure out which scripture went with the picture.. I figured out early on that RJ was good at that game so I choose on different people each time so that everyone had to listen and everyone got a turn to answer. The very last clue led to the TREASURE (which was our treat) and everyone got to go find that one. The kids had a great time and after treat we made another project that we will be finishing tonight:) :) the kids cant wait and to be honest I am pretty excited for this activity too.
closing prayer: Tyler
the kids had to run around the house looking for all 8 clues.. each set had one "trick" scripture and one scripture that led to the next clue.
the washer was the kids favorite
the clue was to find the place where your favorite thing to fall asleep is.. i thought it would be easy since the answer was CLEARLY there blankets but it took the kids a while to find it:)
Not that you want to know this but this is how Dugi poops, On all fours:) he kept saying all night "I POOPIN' " at least he can smile through it;)
She's on the GO!! How cute is THIS!!
The kids working on the project for tonight, and being funny about it.
FUNNY FACE!
After our project Briyler started round 2 of the flu for him. He didn't complain about being sick so it kind of came out of nowhere. When he woke up this morning he was crying not because he was throwing up but because he was going to miss the slip and slide:) poor kid, I filled up the water table for the younger kids (Briyler LOVES that thing) and then just dumped water on the trampoline for the older kids ( i really didn't feel like getting out the slip and slide) and the kids loved the wet trampoline more than the slip and slide anyway:)
the babies LOVE this water table
The older kids love to wrestle
Being silly
Being really silly .. and yes by the time the water table was done briyler took off his pants "because he doesn't like to be wet"
I see London, I see France, I see Briylers UNDERPANTS:) the kids thought that was hilarious!
