4th of JULY:)

WOW has it been a week to remember.. With the fire being so close and the scare of being evacuated we weren't sure if we were going to be able to enjoy our holiday but the fire close but not close enough for us to be in immediate danger. We baked our breakfast casserole and sent it down to the firefighters and they were sooo grateful! There were over 40 casseroles delivered, the firefighters said it was WAY MORE THAN ENOUGH FOOD... I think they might have even sent some home with people, how amazing is that.

We started off going to a Pancake social for breakfast, I didn't take my camera because like everyone knows I'm not a morning person and I just totally forgot..

after the pancake social we went to "grandma's" house and put the 3 babies to sleep.. (Tallin, Kynlie, Kajsen) and then Kaj and I took the older kids to the pool! It was SUPER HOT and CRAZY CROWDED but the kids had a blast, and we made it in time for free hot dogs and drinks:) woop woop!! The kids were sooo tired after the pool so we went back to grandmas and watched "open season 2" and took a nap.

and lastly we headed up to my grandmas for dinner and the sugarhouse fireworks.. The kids all had a great time with the cousins and they LOVED that they got to stay up past there "bed time" for like the 3rd night in a row.. :) The boys played baseball and football while we were waiting for the fireworks to start, (Kaj and Trevor even started up a grown up 2 hand touch football game)..RJ joined in the game of progressive rummy with all the aunts, uncles and cousins, and the other kids enjoyed playing at the park and eating plenty of snacks from grandma. It was a SUPER BUSY DAY, but we all had a great time together.
